Back from Bard

I am back from my reunion weekend, and I had a great time. Except for the fact that Oldest Brother took a turn for the worse while I was there. They called me from the hospital while I was at the awards dinner Friday night and told me that he was having trouble breathing, and they had to intubate him and bring him back to ICU. He's still in ICU.

So that's pretty upsetting, but last night when I called they said he was stable and his numbers were improving. Hopefully that trend has continued.

So back to the weekend, I was delighted to discover that my friend Chris was there. After we encountered each other waiting for the procession, we spent the rest of the weekend together, doing the procession, graduation, class dinner, and fireworks yesterday, and the brunch and the alumni association board of governors meeting today. Then we went into Rhinebeck and had ice cream and talked for an hour or so, then he brought me to the train station.

The train trips both there and home were unremarkable, though very crowded. On the way home today I called Middle Brother. I have told him Oldest Brother is sick , but not how bad.

The room I stayed in was OK< but the bed was awful. I will sleep late tomorrow.

I Skyped the FWiB from my phone each night, and tonight from the computer.

mashfanficchick's mother picked me up tonight, and they both drove me to the train on the way there.

That's enough for tonight, maybe more about it tomorrow.
