Day with Theo

Woke up this morning at a decent hour and was deciding whether or not to go back to sleep when mashfanficchick called saying that they were up and going to do some things and did I want to come along, and should they get me something from the bagel store?

I asked for a bagel with lox spread, and an orange juice. Then I made coffee, showered and dressed.

They got here, with Theo, and we went to Target to get a charging cable for Theo's iPad. We also looked through the toy section while we were there and Theo showed me the electronic lizard that he had gotten one of. Then we discovered that they had accidentally sold mashfanficchick the wrong cable, so ze returned it and found they were out of the one they needed.

So, after dithering around somewhat, we went to Queens Center Mall to the Gamestop there, where Theo decided he absolutely needed Mario Odyssey. Unfortunately it was more more money than he had available, so there was some trouble with him. We ended up going to the Apple Store and getting the cable there.

Then we got Theo Popeyes for dinner, and drove out to Long Island and the three of us ate at Chopt. We drove to mashfanficchick's father's shul, where ze was going to a special Pride shabbat. Zer mother, and Theo, and I waited in the car for her, it wasn't too long.

Theo started getting upset about the Mario Odyssey again, and there were some tense moments. but eventually a compromise was reached, and we went back to Queens, to a Gamestop in Woodside that was open late, and he got the game.

Then we went back to mashfanficchick's apartment so Theo could show me his electronic lizard in action, which he did, and then mashfanficchick's mother brought me home.

I fed the pets, had a fudgesicle, and Skyped the FWiB for a little while.

So that was the day. It was nice seeing Theo.
