Got my X-rays done

Got up at 10:30, and had therapy on the phone. Then had breakfast, and coffee, showered and dressed, and got picked up by mashfanficchick and zer mother, and went and got my foot X-rayed. It didn't take long, and then they brought me to see Oldest Brother.

He was pretty good, considering. He's still on the nasal cannula for oxygen. and I didn't get to stay long because the aide came to clean him. I said to give me some time, and she did but she came back and I didn't think I should push it. But the really good news is that the nurse gave me the doctor's phone number. On Monday I'm going to call.

After that we went to eat at a Mediterranean restaurant which was yummy. By then it was getting towards time for me to go to my meeting and mashfanficchick to go to a ball game. So they brought me home and I puttered for an hour an then took the bus to the bronx for my Al-anon meeting.

The meeting was good, and L brought watermelon! After the meeting she drove me to the bus stop.

I came home and Skyped the FWiB. We ha a nice, though short, talk.

I fed the pets, and then I called the Kid. She's fine, and all is well.

After this I am going to read some of Whose Body?, which I started last night. It's the first Peter Wimsey book, I've read all of them but I've decided to read them again.
