Al-anon night

Slept very late indeed. I got a phone call from the nursing home, unfortunately they have to replace the Foley catheter, because Oldest Brother couldn't void without it. So that's a bummer. They are going to try medication, I think.

Eventually got up and had breakfast and coffee. Put in a Shipt order, of course forgetting the thing I needed most, more shower gel.

Puttered around while waiting for it. The mail arrived, including my copy of Dark Fusion, which is the book of short stories Lynn is published in. I wasn't expecting it until the 28th, so I am going to save reading it til Halloween.

I once more emailed the apartment maintenance people about the non-working of my kitchen sink. No answer yet. I will call on Monday if I don't hear.

Anyway, the Shipt order was delivered and I put it away. I cleaned the cat pan and tied up the litter. Then I took a shower and got dressed. It was almost time to go to my Al-anon meeting by then.

At 5 I took out the dirty cat litter and went to the bus stop for my Al-anon meeting in the Bronx. I went to the pizza place before the meeting as usual.

The meeting was good, though small this week.

Walked to the bus stop, came home, and Skyped the FWiB.

Then I fed the pets, and started here.
