Typical Saturday
Oct. 26th, 2024 10:19 pmMy alarm went off at 9, I got out of bed at 9:45. Could be worse. Had breakfast and coffee, showered and dressed, and Ubered to Bowne Park for my Al-anon meeting.
Looks very good that we are going to get a location for the meeting, and we may get the church that would be closer for me to get to and not require the LIRR. Fingers crossed... Anyway, after the meeting I got a ride to the diner with S, and had corned beef hash and two eggs over easy. And iced coffee.
Then I Ubered home and went to the Starsky and hutch episode watch and chat. Again I missed the episode but enjoyed the chat. We ended a little after 6.
Before I Skyped the FWiB at 7, I did dishes in my functional sink! Yay! I also got into my blue fuzzy Mets blanket/poncho that![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick and ordered for me from the Mets. It is warm and cozy.
Then at 7 we Skyped, and and talked for an hour and 45 minutes, which makes up for the short times we had to have the last few days.
After that I put the dishes away and went into the bedroom and lay down and played solitaire. Earthlink has been messing up my emails from the FWiB and there were several that didn't come through, so he phoned me briefly.
Then it was pet feeding time and I did that, and started here.
Tomorrow it's up early again, and going to see Oldest Brother. Then after that, home to the Starsky and Hutch creative work session and try to wroite something for the advent calendar.

Possession is Nine-Tenths of the Law
Very shortly after I posted it, I got a PM from someone attempting to proselytize me to Christianity. Rather amusing. Coincidence? I think not.
Anyway, that was the day.
Gratitude List:
