Busy times
Nov. 16th, 2024 10:20 pmThe alarm went off at 9, but I hit snooze three times. Forced myself up then, had breakfast, and showered and dressed and made it out of the apartment by 10:15. Which was enough time to try out taking the bus to my Al-anon meeting in the new location.
It worked quite well. I made it easily on time. The meeting was good, not as big as last week but still larger than usual for what it would have been in the park. Got a ride to the diner afterward, had a loaded breakfast wrap and iced coffee.
Ubered home and went to the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. Missed the episode but right after I got there they started a discussion tutorial on Fanlore. I volunteered to be one of the people helping out with fixing broken links in the Starsky and Hutch stuff.
After the tutorial we continued chatting for several hours. Finally we ended at somewhat after 7 and I Skyped the FWiB. We talked for about an hour and a half, and then I puttered online until pet feeding time.
Fed the pets, then did a quick edit to the summery for my story Possession is Nine-Tenths of the Law on ffnet. Someone had written a review to complain that it was slash, and not marked, so annoying though they were, I added "slash" to the summery. Since the line the "reviewer" was complaining about that lets you know it's slash is in the first paragraph of the story, it's not like they put any effort into reading something that turned out to be icky man-loving slash but I guess even one paragraph leaves them feeling contaminated. *grumble grumble* Anyway it's taken care of now.

mashfanficchick to see how ze was doing and if ze might want company tomorrow. Ze was sleeping though so I just said sorry and got off. Don't know what I'll do tomorrow, maybe wash the living room floor. Or clean the turtle tank.
Anyway, that's about all for today.
