Blood tests and tree decorating
Dec. 13th, 2024 11:02 pmI set my alarm for 10 this morning, then when it went off, turned it off meaning to get up. Instead I went back to sleep until 10:55 and had to rush to get to my blood tests on time at 12. Fortunately since I couldn't eat or have coffee, it was possible. I sent for an Uber at 11:38.
It turned out to be good I used an Uber because the place was not where I thought it was. As it was I had no trouble finding the lab. (This was the first time I used the Flushing lab, I normally went to the one near![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick because zer mother would drive me and it was easier) The tests went pretty quickly.
I took the 20 bus from Main Street, which I was lucky enough to get immediately, so I got home pretty quickly, and ate breakfast and had coffee.
I decided to get out the boxes of Christmas stuff and start putting it up. I haven't done everything, I am going to askmashfanficchick to help me with the tree at some point, but the process is started. The garland and lights are up on the living room entryway, the tree has lights, garland tree topper, and a few ornaments. The paper decorations are on the walls, and the stockings are up. And a few other small things.
I worked on the decorations off and on until 5:15 when I took the 50 bus to the Bronx for my meeting. Pizza first as usual. It was a small meeting but good.
Came home, M drove me to the bus stop. Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time. Fed the pets and started here.
Gratitude List:
