Snow and solstice!

I got up at 9:30, and breakfasted, had coffee, showered and dressed. Then I opened my bedroom curtains and... snow! Not falling, the sky was briht and blue, but about an inch of snow on the ground.

So I mailed the eight Christmas cards I had ready and took the bus to my Al-anon meeting. I was late, but not awfully badly. The meeting was smaller than the last few weeks, probably because of the snow, but good.

Got a ride to the diner, nine of us went which was very nice. I celebrated the solstice by having pumpkin pancakes which I know aren't very good for me but, as D said, "It's one meal,"

Didn't get a ride home, took an Uber.

When I got here I got on the Starsky and Hutch chat and actually managed to make the last 10 or so minutes of the episode, Little Girl Lost. Then we chatted until well after 8:00. Had a very good time. My Hormel cheese and meat platter from BJ's was delivered while we were chatting.

Then I Skyped the FWiB, and we talked for an hour and a half. So it was after 10 when we finished, and pet feeding time. I fed the pets and had something myself, and then made a fruitless search for the frog stamps I know I have. When I couldn't find them. I called the Kid, because I knew she was likely to have stamps, and asked her, and she does, so I will get two off her on Tuesday.

Now I'm going to do this and then do the last two cards, and go to bed.
