Busy day

Started out by going to my Al-anon meeting. Had breakfast and coffee, showered, dressed and took the bus over. The meeting was good, growing now that the holidays are over.

Then went to the diner, and had apple cinnamon French toast. It was delicious.

Got an Uber back, then after leaving off my books, and going to the bathroom, I walked over to the nursing home and saw Oldest Brother. He was mentally quite good, but physically, had a nasty cough and congestion. I spoke to the nurse about it when I left.

Then I waited until RK picked up Dori and then me, and we went to Great Neck to mashfanficchick's father's place to sit shiva again. We were the only ones who were there tonight, so we had a nice time catching up on things.

Then at 9 RK drove us home, and I fed the pets, then Skyped the FWiB.

Then I caught up on my internet reading, and started here. I am very tired for some reason. looking forward to bed.

Last day of shiva

Today was mashfanficchick's last day fo sitting shiva for zer mother. I got up at 10, and ate breakfast, had coffee, showered and dressed and was ready when RK picked me up at 11:20.

We made a stop to get ice and a stop to pick up some food for zer, and were at zer father's by a little after 12.

The day went very well, a bunch of people camw who ze was happy to see, so that was good.

At 6 all the guests but RK and I left and we helped clean up. WE got things looking presentable again and then RK brought me home.

I Skyped the FWiB. While we were talking it was 8:03 and I took a break and called Middle Brother. He is fine, nothing special.

Then a little later while we were still Skyping the nursidng home called. Remember I said Oldest Brother had been coughing and was congested? Surprise surprise, he has pneumonia again. They are treating him there though, not sending him to the hospital thank goodness. 10 days of antibiotics.

After the FWiB and I finished talking, I read online and then went to the bedroom. I called the Kid and told her about Oldest Brother's pneumonia and we talked a bit.

Then I played a little solitaire and then it was pet feeding time, so I did that and here I am.

3. RK will probably take me to my doctor's appointment Tuesday.

4. The Kid will take me to my appointment Wednesday.

6. Have tomorrow just to rest.
