Grey Saturday
Jan. 18th, 2025 10:17 pmLast night I suddenly remembered I was supposed to be the speaker for the meeting today, so today I made sure to get up when the alarm went off. I had breakfast and coffee, then showered and dressed, and took the bus to the meeting.
I got there before anyone else, and had to wait just a little til someone opened the cafeteria door. Then, having selected a topic already ("guilt"), I quickly found a page to read on that, and then helped set up. Luckily I am, if anything, a good extemporaneous speaker. So that worked out OK.
After the meeting I got a ride to the diner and had a grilled cheese sandwich with pepperjack cheese and bacon on rye, and iced coffee. We had a good time.
Itook an Uber home, and got here in time for the last few minutes of the Starsky and Hutch episode Fatal Charm. The chat afterward was about the new Dreamwidth community, and how to post and stuff there.
We chatted til somewhat after 6, when I realized that Iwas almost out of milk, and needed to do a Shipt order so I quickly put one in.
Then at 7 I Skyped the FWiB and we had a very nice time til almost 8:30.
The Shipt order was delivered and I putit away and then had something to eat. Then I went to the bedroom to lay down. I called![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick to see what zer plans for tomorrow were. No plans made yet, but Monday is the new episode of Lonestar, so we have to figure out what to do about that.
I puttered around on my phone til pet feeding time. I may get more active on Tribel, Karen Briefere is starting there so I'll have at least one friend. I have had an account there for ages but never really used it.
Anyway I did that til pet feeding time. and then fed the pets, and started here.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. My meetings and the people there.
3. The Starsky and Hutch fandom.
4. The rain didn't get too bad while I was out.
5. I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow as far as I know.
6. My back feels more or less OK.
