Saw Oldest Brother

I meant to get up at 10 this morning but again I didn't, I went back to sleep. Got up at a bit after 11, and had breakfast and coffee.

Then I showered and dressed, and took the bus to the hospital to see Oldest Brother. He's in ICU and doesn't look great, but I think he responded to me twice when I spoke to him, nodding his head a little bit when I asked him something.

I stayed an hour and I spoke to a doctor about him, and I think he's doing OK.

Then I called mashfanficchick to see if ze wanted me to come over, but zee was doing some paperwork. We'll probably get together tomorrow.

Instead, I went to Astoria to the Ki'd place to check on Carmina and the snake. Everything looked good, Carmina was fine. I didn't see the snake but there was no indication of anything wrong so I assume he was just hiding. The Kid says he just shed, and he hides after that.

I came back to Flushing and treated myself to Lucia Pizza. I love that pplace and haven't eaten there literally in years.

Then I came home, by then it was after 6. The Kid texted in reply to my texts about Oldest Brother, and going to her place. I puttered around til 7 and then Skyped the FWiB.

We talked til 8, when I had my D&D game. We had a good time killing strange silvery blobs. Then we were communicating with will o' the whisps, and then we ended for the night.

Then I called mashfanficchick again, and then fed the pets. And now I'm doing this.

I finished the Elizabeth Moon last night, I'll start the Jonathan Kellerman I downloaded last night tonight.
