Another sleepover

Woke up this morning, turned off the alarm, and went back to sleep until 1:00. That was a bummer because I had planned on an earlier start to the day. There was a text from the nursing home, they have two cases of Covid.

I had breakfast and coffee. I called the nursing home and found out that the cases weren't on Oldest Brother's floor, so I decided I could go see him if I kept masked. So I showered and dressed and packed for staying over at mashfanficchick's place tonight.

I went to the nursing home and visited for about 45 minutes. He's still congested but the doctor had made his rounds that morning so they should know about it.

Then I came to mashfanficchick's place and we hung out for awhile, then went down to the store for soda.

We came back and had a snack and then it was time for our TV shows, 911 and Dr. Odyssey. I called Middle Brother at 8:30, he's fine and had a fun time on St. Patrick's Day.

Then we had dinner, and I Skyped the FWiB.

Then we watched several episodes of Will Trent, and now it's time for bed.

Much work

Woke up this morning at 9:00 but didn't get out of bed until 11:00. mashfanficchick got up a little after, and we had breakfast. I texted L that I wouldn't be able to make the meeting tonight.

I got a phone call about Middle Brother, that they needed a consent form for his colonoscopy coming up. I don't know what happened to the consent form I sent in before, but there it is. So they said they would fax one, and mashfanficchick gave them the fax number of zer father's former office, and we hastily dressed and went over there to wait for the fax. And wait. And wait. Eventually they did send it, and I signed it and faxed it back, and that should be OK.

So then we went to zer mother's house and started work there. We put in several hours, then went back to zer place to rest, have a snack, and wait for RK who was coming over tonight.

When RK got there, we went back to the house, and put in several more hours of work, with RK to do some heavy lifting and moving things.

Finally at 8:00 we quite working and went to Home Depot to get more things for the job.

And then we went out to eat. RK chose going to a steak house, so we ended up at Texas Long Horn. They told us that there would be a 25 to 40 minute wait. It was much longer, over an hour I think. But the food was good, and the company couldn't be beat.

Then they drove me home, and I fed the pets and Skyped the FWiB for a little while before he crashed. And then I started here.
