Just fast

Had my Al-anon group anniversary today. Was very enjoyable. I won two items in the raffle.

Then went to the diner. Took the bus home.

Met mashfanficchick and Mandy. Went to Qdoba and got salsa and chips while they ate lunch.

Then went to the movie The Thunderbolts. Enjoyed it a great deal.

Went back to mashfanficchick's, watched Deadpool and Wolverine.

Ubered home.

Bed now.

Saw Oldest Brother

After being up until 4:00 last night, I slept until 12:00 today. Not well though, I kept waking up and going back to sleep, almost every hour of the morning. I'm looking forward to sleeping tonight.

I finally got up, had breakfast and coffee, and showered and dressed. I texted Denise to ask her to text me when they were going over to the nursing home, and she did. So I headed over.

Got there just in time to meet them, and we went to see Oldest Brother. He wasn't good. Very unresponsive and drowsy. I'm glad he was better when everyone was here, and everyone had a chance to interact with him to some degree because I do not think he will be any better again. And truthfully, I fear it won't be long now. We played music for him and he seemed to enjoy it.

We stayed until 5:00 and they gave me a ride home. They are leaving tomorrow. Mandy was leaving today, so things will be back to the new normal now.

I puttered online and played solitaire until 7:00 when the FWiB tried to contact me using Teams. We had a very hard time, he finally phone me and we talked that way til he got Teams going, then we used that.

John Ivon texted me, he's been very unwell, in the hospital himself with a heart issue, and had another procedure tomorrow. He had what was supposed to be a very simple procedure last week, but something went wrong and he was left with a bleeding hole in his heart. Now they have to do something to take care of that. so I am worried about him. So soon after Lynn died too.

I called Middle Brother at 8:30 as usual. He is good, was excited that he got a haircut yesterday, and went to 7-11 today.

I ate dinner and then went to the bedroom and played more solitaire and puttered on my phone til pet feeding time.
