Halloween!
Nov. 1st, 2025 12:28 amGot up this morning at 10:00 because my therapist was going to be calling. She texted at 10:30, and we connected a bit before 11:00. That was good.
Then I meant to go back to bed and sleep but I had already had my morning coffee so I didn't feel tired. So I showered and dressed in my Halloween stuff, and then stayed just playing on my phone til![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
mashfanficchick got up.
We started walking down to Chipotle, which had been our plan, because they had $6 burritos for people in costume, but when wwe got there we found that didn't start til 3:00. On the way there, the Kid called me, which was lovely and we sang our Halloween songs. I'm sure it embarrasses her but she did it, which made me happy.
Anyway, when we found the Chipotle deal hadn't started, we walked back to Sweetgreen and got salads to go. Then we took the bus back to zer place, packed up all the Halloween stuff, and took a Lyft to Liz G's place.
When we got there RK was there which was a nice surprise. He didn't stay long though. And soon the trick or treaters started coming thick and fast. We sat on the steps to give out treats.
The wind was outrageous and it was chilly. At one point my witch's hat blew away and I had to chase it across the lawn. I caught it and had to hold it from then on. Eventually it got too chilly and we went in. Liz carved a pumpkin. Matt R showed up at 7:00 I think, and we had various goodies and things.
We called in dinner from a Japanese place. I had seafood yaki udon, and a sushi roll, eel and mango maki.
We watched an animated series called Over the Garden Wall. It was very surrealistic.
After that we just hung out for awhile and then Matt said he had to go so we called an Uber cause it was cheaper than Lyft and the three of us took it.mashfanficchick and I got dropped off first and then Matt.
I am staying another night here, and missing my meeting tomorrow. We unpacked and changed into night things and I started here.
It was a really nice Halloween all-in-all.
