Bad news on the guitar

mashfanficchick gave me to give to Middle Brother over to zer to got get it restrung at Guitar Center.
I took the bus and we met in Starbucks though I had to wait quite awhile. No big deal though. I had a peppermint mocha. Yum.
Anyway, we took the subway and bus to Guitar Center, but the news was not good. Apparently the guitar is damaged and would have to be repaired at a cost that's more than the guitar is worth. So I didn't do anything with it.mashfanficchick took it to see if any of zer friends wanted it. Or if anyone on my friends list here has a desire for an unusable guitar, let me know.
Anyway after that we went to the HMart food court to get a very late lunch/early dinner. I had Korean seafood scallion pancake, very delicious, and a Korean (I think) soft drink.
Then we went shopping in HMart. I didn't get anything. We walked to the subway and took that back to zer place, stopping on the way at CVS.
We got back in time to watch 911, which was a touching and very good episode, and 911: Nashville, which wasn't as good, but was OK.
Then I took Uber home, and fed the pets, and made myself one of the mushroom pasta bowls I got at BJs the other week. Then I Teamed the FWiB just for hi and bye.
I posted a snopes.com link on Karen B's Facebook. She had posted that ISIS endorsed Zohran Mamdani. This appears to be fake, and I hope I did the right thing in pointing it out. I hope I haven't blown up our friendship. But it needed to be said.
In sad news, the (adult) daughter of someone I know through my Al-anon meetings died. I will be going to at least the wake, maybe the funeral also, next week.
