Easter Monday
Apr. 6th, 2026 10:27 pmWhich is not a holiday in the US, but hey I'm retired, every day is a holiday.
I woke up around 10:00 and stayed in bed but awake until my Shipt shopper started shopping. Then I got up and had coffee. The Shipt order came right on time, and I unpacked it and made breakfast. I took a shower and washed my hair, and dressed.
Then I did, well, nothing, for the rest of the day. I did order the second Scholomance book from Thriftbooks.com. I love Thriftbooks.
I went to the bedroom at one point and played solitaire. I've been taking part in an online argument on Ship-of-fools, the first time in a long time I've actually participated rather than just post occasional posts. And that's rather interesting.
The Kid finally called me, which made me happy. We didn't talk long but at least I got a Happy Easter, an I reminded her to start thinking about her birthday and Mother's Day.
At 7:00 of course I Teamed the FWiB, and we talked nearly an hour and a half, which was nice.

mashfanficchick but ze was unable to talk then, and said ze'll call tomorrow. I want to ask zer to help me get Oreo to the vet for a checkup.
Then it was pet feeding time so I did that and started here.
Oh, I got a load of laundry together that I'll take down tomorrow. That's all,
