No, not that Ive been particularly busy...
Woke up at 10:00 with the alarm, but then Oreo snuggled up against me and I couldn't bring myself to disturb him, so I ended up dozing off til 12:00. Then got up, had breakfast and coffee, and puttered online.
I texted RK about helping me get Oreo in the carrier to take him to the vet for a checkup, but he's busy through the week coming up. He suggested luring Oreo into the carrier with treats, to get him used to it, so I started thinking about that.
I went to the bedroom and read more of The Godmother, but I felt very restless for some reason. So finally I got up, showered and dressed, and went out to that little coffee shop, Busy Bee.
I really like the place, though it's a little pricey. I had a lavender cream latte, and sat and read my book in a comfy chair. Then I got a smoked salmon sandwich, which comes with a salad. It was all very good, and worth the price. I stayed til 5:00. they close at 6:00.
I came back home, and put in a Shipt order for a box of Fancy Feast cat food. I figure I can use those to lure Oreo into the carrier. I ordered a bit more to bring it up to free delivery.
Then at 7:00 I Teamed the FWiB. We talked til I got off to tune in to 911. But what I had forgotten was that 911 was on hiatus! No episode! The Shipt order came while we were talking.
So I turned off the TV, and just then Larry messaged me with an offer of a Mets ticket for Saturday. Yay! Of course I said yes. So he sent me the ticket. Saturday would have been Oldest Brother's 70th birthday, so even better to have something to occupy me rather than brooding on it. It means I'll miss Starsky and Hutch chat again though, but there's always next week.
At 8:30 I called Middle Brother. Hes fine, nothing new.

mashfanficchick and we had a brief chat by text. Then the Kid texted me, she's away for the weekend and let me know she got in safely, which was nice of her.
At 10:00 it was pet feeding time, and I gave Oreo one of the Fancy Feast cans in his bowl in the kitchen to see how he liked it. He LOVED it. So tomorrow I open one and put it in the carrier and see if he is willing to go in to eat it. Won't close the carrier of course, just let him eat the food. Fingers crossed! I have to get him to a vet, he lost one of his big fangs, and I need to get that checked out.
Anyway, after I fed both pets (Christie btw laid another clutch of eggs recently, and is eating better now that that's over) I had some food myself, and then started here.
