I got my hat back!

Got up at 9:00 and had breakfast and coffee. Showered and dressed, was running a little late but my bus was just pulling up as I got to the stop, so I made the meeting on time.

Since I had been told the last place the hat was seen was in the kitchen cabinet near the microwave, I looked there. Then all the other cabinets. Nope. So I gave up and went to my seat.

Where someone said "Is that your hat?" and indicated the table next to ours. And sure enough, just sitting there, was my hat!

I have no idea where its been on its travels since it disappeared, but I am very glad to have it back.

Anyway, the meeting was very good. Afterward I told S that I wasn't going to the diner, and headed over to mashfanficchick's.

On the way I stopped at Duane Reade and bought a Happy Birthday bag for zer presents (which I brought with me) and a card.

The weather was icky, but I had my umbrella and my hat! I got t0 mashfanficchick's ze was sleeping but Mandy was awake. I hung out til ze woke up, and then gave zer my presents. Then the three of us talked for awhile.

Mandy left for her play that she was going to, and mashfanficchick and I hung out waiting for the sushi we ordered.

We ate when it came, and we were going to watch Will Trent, but ze said ze wanted to take a nap, and I should Team ti FWiB from my phone and then get zer up after.

So I Teamed the FWiB and we had a very nice time. But mashfanficchick was so deeply asleep that I couldn't get zer up.

So I fiddled on my phone and waited for either zer to wake up or Mandy to get back. Mandy got back, amd said she didn't feel great and wanted to go to bed so I said goodbye and Ubered home.

When I got here something weird happened. I was standing outside the front door and getting my keys out when the door started buzzing like I'd used the fob. Or like someone had buzzed it from inside. So I opened it and went in. It stayed buzzing for a long time, past when I checked my mail and opened my own door.

So I don't know what's going on with it. If it breaks again and is open for months like the last time I shall be mightily pissed.

Anyway, I came in and fed the pets, and started here.
