Some disturbing news

I found out about the FWiB's health situation today, he finally came clean with me. He has lymphoma. It's treatable, but I'm very worried of course. And that's all there is to say right now about that because I don't know any more.

Aside from that, I had a productive day. Took care of some stuff, made some phone calls.

And then I went to my meeting. I chaired, the topic was happiness.

And that's that.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. My meeting and the people there.

3. My turtle is fed.

4. Seeing mashfanficchick and her mother tomorrow.

5. Didn't get rained on today.

6. Modern medicine.

*hugs* So sorry to hear about the FWIB, babe, but it is reassuring to hear that it's treatable. Please send him my best when you can.

Also, just so you know, I'm not going to mention any of this to Mom; I don't trust her not to badger you with questions you don't know the answers to. You can decide tomorrow what, if anything (and that includes "I'd rather not talk about it"), you want to tell her.

thanks for posting your recent news. I hope your will post better news about the situation in the future, and while I do believe people need to take care of themselves, I also think modern medicine is a really amazing thing.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, but I have heard that it's very treatable. Depending on the type he has, it may never go away, but rather be dormant.

Treat him to something he likes. I'll put you both on my prayer list.
