Happy 4th of July

silver_chipmunkMy phone has mysteriously started working again. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for me that it keeps up because I found that my insurance on the phone doesn't cover software issues so I'd have to buy a new phone. Which I can't afford now.
So that was a good chunk of my day. Went into Flushing with Oldest Brother to the T-Mobil store, found I had to contact the insurance company, and so on and so on. And then the phone started working again.
So for the rest of the day we puttered on the computer, then went out and ate at an Italian place I know.
And then we watched the celebrations on TV, first the Washington DC one, then New York.
And that's pretty much the day.
Gratitude List:
1. Oldest Brother.
2. Saw The Kid and SIL briefly while they picked something up.
3. The phone works!!!!
4. The FWiB.
5. Independence Day.
6. It cleared up for the fireworks.
