Spent the day inside. Read in the morning, then watched leverage for the rest of the day. Finished it at last. So now to write fanfiction...

Nothing else of interest here, for the first day of my vacation.

However, I do take exception to the "bastards". Not all Republicans are bad. Look at Kasich. Or me.

It's politics to claim they'll block a nomination, but in reality, it rarely happens. Look at Clarence Thomas for example.

Glad to hear you say Kasich. I don't follow politics, in general. But at least Kasich has a shred of class. It helps that he's from Ohio, right?

Unfortunately, he doesn't have much of a war chest. Hopefully after NH, people pay attention to his legacy (400,000 new jobs in Ohio the last few years) and his more positive message.

It also helps the Republican Convention is in Cleveland this year, too! (Though the last time that happened, there was a major serial killer stalking the city.)

The "bastards" was specifically referring to those who are vowing to block Obama's attempts to fulfill his Constitutional right and duty to appoint a successor to Scalia in a timely manner. They deserve it. Kasich I know nothing about.
