Time change

Didn't do much today, slept late, then went out to Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast and coffee because my Keurig coffee machine seems to be out of order. So after I came back I puttered around and did a very little housework, mostly putting Draino in the bathroom sink. I suddenly realized by comparing the numbers that I had missed putting two of my stories from fanfiction.net onto AO3, so I had to do a list and check them off to figure out which ones and then i put them on. To my shame, one of them was the 9/11 story, The only Thing I Can Be Sure Of. One of the stories I'm proudest of, and I forgot it! But it's there now.

An annoying thing, apparently Amazon tried to deliver my calendar that I ordered the other day, and despite the fact i was here when they attempted delivery, they funked it. I put down for redelivery tomorrow, and directions to leave it by my door.

A good thing today, I had a nice facebook conversation with Herschel, it being the first time in quite awhile we've been in touch. I miss him. So it was nice talking.

And I watched two episodes of Nero Wolfe Mysteries.

And that's about all there is to say.

Yeah, Herschel's an on-line friend I've known for 20 years now, I can't believe it's that long! We used to be much closer than we are now, and I miss him, so it was good to talk today.

Ah, Nero Wolfe! :) Glad to know you're a fan. It's been a while since I've watched. Or read the books, for that matter.

BTW, I've been meaning to say, I appreciate how consistent you are with posting and with your gratitude list.

Yes, I've read literally the entire original Rex Stout series (my mother had a complete set, from the first ones up til the time Rex Stout died) and I just discovered this series in a roundabout way. I'm enjoying it a lot. Good to find another fan!

I enjoy keeping up every night with the journal, and the gratitude list is a good discipline for me. Glad you njoy it.
