Very calm day

Work was very quiet. Not much to say about it.

After work I went into Flushing and had bubble tea... and that is one thing I should say, I've forgotten to mention... my favorite bubble tea store is gone! Out of business, the whole place gutted. RIP Come Buy! *sigh* Happily my second-favorite place, CoCo, is still doing fine. But anyway, I had bubble tea and then did some shopping.

Came home and found, to my great relief that my lease renewal agreement was waiting for me, signed and taken care of. I was worrying that the new management company had lost them or something. But it is all OK.

And that is about it. Except that I am now determined to get Oldest Brother a computer. I found a chromebox on Amazon for a very good price, so we shall see. Anyone have any thoughts on the Chrome OS? I've never used it.

Gratitude List:

1. My renewal is taken care of.

2. Quiet day.

3. It didn't pour til after I got home.

4. Off tomorrow.

5. Having a little moneyy to play with.

6. Not too hot in here yet, hope it stays that way til I get the AC set up!

Bubble tea-- that's tea + milk + sugar and some other stuff right? Hot Milk tea is drunk a lot in Sri Lanka but I never liked it. So I've never drunk the bubble teas, though they are cold.

Milk, tea, sugar, and the "bubbles" are tapioca pearls. I love it myself, but I usually get flavors like taro or jasmin rather than plain.

I've heard of bubble tea, but never tried it. No shops in my town serve it. Next time I'm traveling, I'll have to get some.
