Calm day at work

Nothing of interest. Nice to leave early for a change, but not so nice to get up early so it works out. Anyway, afterward went to Flushing and ate at Burger King, then into College Point and got my face waxed before my meeting. Meeting was good, I chaired, on self esteem.

Afterward I saw my first firefly of the season!

Gratitude List:

3. Remembered to buy cat food.

I love fireflies too. We have some in our yard and I was delighted to see some at our friends Michael & Kim's new house last Friday. They have a really nice front garden but it was getting dark when we got there and I couldn't see much more than its size and the fireflies!

I was so relieved to see one of your old neighbors brought the computer in for you and that it wasn't stolen!
