The tooth is gone

The guy for the apartment inspection (which was, as I expected, about the lead paint thing from before, and all taken care of now) arrived just as Oldest Brother and I were leaving for the oral surgeon, so I got that over with.

The extraction went well, painless and fairly fast, and the hole doesn't hurt now, with only Tylenol as a painkiller. Oldest Brother stayed all day to keep me company, and we had a good time.

Went out for Carvel, met up with mashfanficchick, her mother, Mandy, Dani and Theo. Had a large sundae because that was dinner. Soft food tomorrow, then back to regular on Friday I guess.

So everything worked out well, and I am back to work tomorrow.

I bet that's a relief. Two things wrapped up with good outcomes. I'm happy for you. Hope your recovery from the tooth extraction continues to go well. I had dental work last year and it was so nice once it was over and I didn't have to worry about it anymore.

Oh yeah, both were a very great relief. So far so good with the dental work, hopefully it will continue OK.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected, but hopefully you won't have to go through the experience for a long time to come.
