Depressed and despairing

Bad day. Made it in to work, albeit late, though I almost called out sick. I decided that I needed to be with people and that I needed to do the teen program so I went in. After work I met up with mashfanficchick and her mother and we went to a create-your-own pizza place, which was very good, and after that to Carvel. And after that we went to a place owned by a friend of theirs, and had MORE ice cream, really drowning our sorrows. And then we came back here where they came in for a few moments, which was nice. And now for bed.

Yeah, I'm not doings so well with the results either. I'm slowly regaining my fighting spirit though and in no way will I ever support racism, homophobia, or or religious extremism. If I need to speak out, I will and damn the consequences.

Well, you seem to be in good company around here. We are all shell shocked, depressed, just figuring out how to cope with this. I'm glad you got to spend time with friends. It helps.

Yeah, it helps not to be alone. I'm glad that, although I don't have very large friends lists, the people on them, here and on facebook, are mostly sympathetic. Hang in there!
