Tomorrow is a SNOW DAY!

Yes, work has been cancelled tomorrow due to the impending snowpocalypse. I am looking forward to it greatly.

Work today was fine up until 5:30 when there was an incident with the guard. She will have to be transferred. This is no great loss. It was not fun.

After work I went shopping. Wanted to get grocery store sushi but they were out. *sigh* Anyway, after I shopped I came home and called the FWiB.

Oldest Brother may come here after work tomorrow morning if he feels the snow is too bad to go home. We shall see how it goes.

You have me wondering, how many security folks do you have at your location and is it just me or do they really not last very long? Is there something about your branch that gets unruly adolescents, aggressive homeless folks, or cranky old people?

We have one guard in the building, and a lot of kids who are basically, well, kids. Pesty and annoying, they come to hang out not to do work or anything.

Actually we had one guard for upwards of four years, and she was pretty good, and the kids really liked her and all was well. And then out of the blue for no apparent reason she was transferred. No reason given. Since then we've had two guards, the first of which was OK, not great but OK, but then she let one of the pesty kids get to her and yelled at her and followed her outside yelling, and so she had to be transferred. Then we got the one we have now, and she's just not very good at all. She yells and antagonizes the kids and was hostile towards them and it just wasn't working so I'm rather glad the final incident happened yesterday. Hopefully we'll get someone who knows what s/he is doing and won't have to be shipped out.
