Shopping after work

silver_chipmunkWork was OK, rather busy. Afterward I called the FWiB and talked to him while I took the bus to the mall in the Bronx that I pass on my way home from work. Told the FWiB that I''d call him back after I finished shopping, and then went to Target to get shower presents for Dani. Got a few things, then went across the mall to Petco where I got yet another new light for the turtle, because it blew out a few days ago. Then I went to a Five Guys for dinner.
After I ate I went to the bus stop and tried to call the FWiB again but he didn't pick up the phone. I think he must have had his headphones on again and not heard it ring. Or been asleep. Or both.
Anyway I came home and puttered around. I am very dissatisfied with this turtle light. I will probably get another at some point.
And that was my day.
Gratitude List:
1. Even a short conversation with the FWiB.
2. Found nice stuff for Dani.
3. Candy.
4. My turtle.
5. Didn't have to wait long for the bus home.
6. No rain.
