silver_chipmunkFirst thing, something scary, though he's OK. The SIL got hit by a car today. The Kid called me at work to tell me. He was on his bike, and it was a hit-and-run, though they got the person who hit him. He is scraped and scratched but no worse, but his bike is totaled. Upsetting, to say the least.
Aside from that the day was pretty good aside from some minor annoyances. I went to my meeting in Manhattan, I was half an hour early, which is better than being late! Interesting but not as informative as it could have been.
Went back to the Bronx after, with the other two members of my staff who were there, and we stopped and got lunch on the way back. It was while I was on lunch break that The Kid called me.
After work, since I'd eaten at the meeting, and had more for lunch than usual, I skipped Boston market and just got a slice of pizza. Pretty good. Then coffee at Dunkin' Donuts while I called the FWiB.
And then my meeting, which was very good.
Got the notification from Bid a Wee of the donation thatmashfanficchick made in Spyder's name came today. I am appreciative.
Minor annoyances, the chain on my silver dragon necklace broke. Luckily I didn't lose the dragon. And one of the light bulbs in the living room blew out. Nothing serious.
