Took the day off from work

silver_chipmunkThis morning I felt too shaky after the events of last night to go to work. So I called out sick. Spent the day reading, and then I found a site where I could watch Guardians of the Galaxy for free! So I got to see that finally, and now I'm looking forward to the sequel.
Then at 5 I got ready to go out, and went to my meeting. The FWiB called, and we talked. And now I must talk about something I don't think I mentioned before, because I wanted to ignore it as long as possible. He has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and he starts chemo next week. Frankly, though he says not to worry, and reassuring things, I think it sounds bad. I'm scared.
Like I said, I went to my meeting. For the first time in a long time there were actually three of us there!

3. Bjorn is back.

5. Modern medicine.
6. Able to take the day off when I needed to.
