Getting ready for my trip

silver_chipmunkI may or may not have mentioned that I'm going to see The Kid tomorrow. That means getting up at an unearthly hour and taking a bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 8:00, arriving at (hopefully) 9:45. So I am doing everything I can either yesterday night or tonight.
(I will, btw, try to make a brief post from y phone tomorrow night. Have never posted on Dreamwidth from my phone so I don't know how it will work)
Anyway today went OK, horrible traffic to work, but the day went fine. Then I went to Rite Aid for a birthday card for The Kid. There was an ice cart outside the store so I got an ice too, two flavors, mango and coconut. Then I went to Boston Market for dinner as usual for Friday. The FWiB called and we talked, and then it was time to go to my meeting, which was very good.
Came home with J, more horrible traffic. The Kid called and we talked about plans for tomorrow. And now the cats are eating and I'm getting ready.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. The Kid.
3. Roses.
4. Maango and coconut ices.
5. My meetings and the people there.
6. It didn't thunderstorm llike the weather report said it might.
