Home again, home again.

silver_chipmunkStayed up late last night reading with the kids, and slept late this morning. Then had breakfast with the SIL while the Kid read in bed. Finally everyone got ready to go out and we dropped the SIL off to pick up the damaged bicycle from the repair place (the insurance of the woman who hit him will cover a new one but they are keeping the old one and repairing it) and The Kid and I went to Main Street to the Meadery. She had a glass, and I did a tasting of five types, and picked out two that I bought bottles of to bring home. Scrumptious! Then we got a box of a local pastry delicacy that I forget the name of, and shared it as we walked along Main Street window shopping.
After we did that she drove me to the casino and we were going to use my $45 credit from the bus but it turns out that it expires if you don't use it the day you get it. :-( Which was of course yesterday. So we stopped at one of the restaurants and i got a slice of quiche for an early dinner and ate.
The trip home was uneventful except that the bus was late getting in, not awful about 15 or 20 minutes I think.
Made my way home via subway and bus, talking to the FWiB for part of it.
And now am home. All is well, I think the cats missed me though.
