Bad afternoon at work.

Most of the day was fine, though very short staffed. But in the evening we had an incident with a disruptive member of the public that was very unpleasant. Left me feeling wrung out and twitchy. At least it ended quietly.

Aside from that the day was OK. Talked to the FWiB, though not as long as usual because he was fatigued. And ran some errands with mashfanficchick and her mother.

At a loss for words to say about the Paris accords. I think NYC intends to keep honoring them, not sure about the state. Probably. Can we, finally, at long last, impeach this clown Not that Pence would be much better, but at least he isn't a smarmy deranged Russian tool.

Gratitude List:

2. Toilet paper (one of the errands involved it)

I'm not so sure about Pence not being a Russian tool. If the Republicans were making jokes about Trump and the Russians before the Rep. convention then the knowledge must have been out there far before we knew anything about it. It's all so over the top it's hard to wrap your head around what our fellow Americans have done to us. Watching the news was starting to get me down so I have went to a couple of days a week to keep up. You might try that.

There is that. A plague on both their houses... though if we get rid of both of them we're stuck with President Ryan. it's a no-win situation.

I don't actually watch the news, I get most of my news from facebook political pages, and from talking to the FWiB, who, being in a nursing home, has very little to do but watch TV, so watches news obsessively.

I'm still super depressed and angry about the Paris accords. I made a post on FB about America turning into Waterworld and someone actually said I was overreacting. I wish I was overreacting but I really feel like we're doomed at this point.

I know the feeling. It almost makes me glad my daughter doesn't want to have children of her own... no more hostages to the future for my line... *sigh*
