Magic show

silver_chipmunkToday was the kickoff program for the summer reading program, which for us meant having the magician Bob Friedhoffer do a show, which sadly only got an audience of about 8 because all the kids I told about if left before 4 when it started. But those 8 had a good time so that's OK.
After work the FWiB didn't call for about an hour, and I was worried, but it turns out it was the phne system there again acting up. When he did call we had a good talk.
Called The Kid after, but she was in the middle of dinner and couldn't talk.
Then went out withmashfanficchick, her mother, and Robyn to get Carvel, and then to Target for some brief shopping. No dinner this week, oh well.
And I just discovered that God Stalk and Dark of the Moon, the two books by P C Hodgell, have many sequels, which I knew nothing about! Looking forward to eventually getting them all, probably on my Nook.
Oh, and *ashamed look* I forgot to mention yesterday that it was the anniversary of D-day, the Allied invasion of Normandy in World War 2.

5. Bjorn scooted past me when I opened the door to go out, but I got him back before he got away (not that he really tried that hard)
