Sick day

Woke up feeling rather worse this morning, the cold has moved southward, so to speak, and I have been hacking up gobs of phlegm. Sorry for the disgusting image. Anyway, as a result I stayed in bed for the most part with the AC on. Slept a lot, and read some, and got up to eat and check things on-line.

The FWiB called and we had a nice long talk. Then, just when I was getting ready to call Oldest Brother, mashfanficchick called and asked if I'd like to go to dinner. So I was feeling better after my day in bed so I said yes. She has a cold too, we sounded like a plague ward together, hacking and coughing. But we had a good time eating at Uno with her mother as well.

Now home and getting ready for bed. Strongly thinking of staying home tomorrow, because a quick trip out to eat is not equivalent to a whole day working. But I won't decide til tomorrow.

Ugh. I'm sorry about the cold. I hope you get to feeling better soon! Or at least, the phlegm thing clears up in short order.

Thanks. It's getting better. I'm glad I got the air conditioner set up when I did, I'd hate to be sick in the heat we're having!

Thanks! Yeah, it's working it's way through. Thank goodness for air conditioning, I wouldn't want to be sick in the heat!
