Major thunderstorms

Though it didn't look like it was going to rain when I left the house this morning, so I didn't bring an umbrella. *sigh* The downpour started at 5 but since I was working til 7 I had hopes that it would slaken by then, and so it did. It was still raining though, and I got rather wet getting home.

Did the gaming program with the kids and it went very well, though I hope I don't get int trouble for letting them play catch in the room.

The FWiB called, he had some nausea yesterday and threw up once but was OK today. I suppose it'll get worse the longer he had the chemo. He was OK today though.

No other news that I can think of.

Gratitude List:

1. Missed the worst of the rain.

2. Chocolate milk. (which does not come from brown cows!)

3. The FWiB.

4. There will be no problems with the cottage for the wedding.

5. On-line friends.

6. Finished my Jonathan Kellerman yesterday night.

That old, reliable rule: if you don't have an umbrella with you, it will definitely rain.

It happened to me once when I had to go to court (for a library patron thing), and had to stand outside in the pouring rain because they refused to let anyone in the building before 8 am. I was soaked by the time I got in, and wet the rest of the day.

O man that sucks. I hate that feeling of being wet and unable to do anything about it!
