Pride day!

silver_chipmunkSo last night mashfanficchick and her mother picked me up around 12:30 and we went out for a snack to Omonia. I had a wonderful gelato thing with Kahlua. Then we went back to mashfanficchick's place, she opened the couch for me and we went to bed.
Next morning after I had my coffee we went and got breakfast at a deli and then went into the city. We had decided to skip the parade and just go to the festival after. Had trouble finding it, but eventually we did, and we went through the whole thing except the area that was cordoned off because there was a fire in one of the buildings along the street. But that was a minor part of the whole. Had a great time, and I am now covered in purple glitter that I'll have to shower off before I go to bed.
Then we came back to Queens, went to Starbucks to rehydrate, and met up with her mother to go out on the island to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. Which was delicious. The FWiB called but obviously I couldn't talk long, but he is well.
They brought me home and all is well here. Went and picked up my laundry so I have something to wear tomorrow! And that's all.
