But the updates are all done now so here I am.

The big news, such as it is, is that I made the appointment with the guy we want to fix the cottage. On August 14th, at around 4. So that's taken care of.

And the other big news is that I got Black Mold in the mail today, the next ben Aaronovitch graphic novel. I started reading it before I called Oldest Brother. So far, so good.

Aside from that, yesterday I went out for Carvel with

mashfanficchick and her mother. No dinner afterwards though.

Today I made the appointment with the contractor, as I said. Talked to the FWiB both nights, and all is well. I texted to The Kid both days too, to let her know what was up.

The light in the turtle tank is out again. I swear those bulbs burn out faster than... I don't know what. Very annoying, and expensive.

Tomorrow I'm free and have therapy in the morning. I'll talk to her about my anxiety over the cottage.
