So two things today

First, we got our new Children's person. She's young and seems nice, and lives in College Point, of all places! (Where I lived for years until the marriage broke up and I had to move). We had a small celebration to welcome her, some yummy stuff. I brought orange juice.

The other thing is I had my end of summer celebration today. Oh stop that, I know it's not the end of summer yet! But that's when we do it. So I had a graffiti art program, and gave out goody bags, and all was well though to be honest it was mostly younger kids not teens.

I got a text from mashfanfichick asking did I want to meet them for coffee at Starbucks after work before my meeting, and I said yes. So when i got out of work, the FWiB called and we talked while i waited for the bus and got to 20th ave. They met me there and we went to Starbucks, and had a good time, and then they took me to my meeting.

The meeting was small but good, and then I came home, and that's about all.
