Took Bjorn to the vet

This time they did x-rays. Again, they couldn't find anything work with him except he was slightly dehydrated (they gave him fluids) so the vet says it's possible that I'm right and he's mourning Spyder. He gave me an appetite stimulant to give him, and gave him a dose there. He was willing to eat some of the special "urgent care" food he gave him, and they gave me some cans to take home.

I took him home, gave him some more of the urgent care food, which he ate, and went to work. Made it fed and ready to work by 12:30. Work was OK, I did the laptop program with the teens.

After work the FWiB called and we talked on my way to my meeting, very nice. And my meeting was particularly good, all four of us were there for once.

Just got off the phone with mashfanficchick, made plans for tomorrow, Carvel and Uno.

And the best thing is that Bjorn ate dinner, a nice amount. I hope if he keeps up he'll get back some of the weight he's lost.

Yay, I'm glad to hear he's eating again. It's amazing when animals grieve for other animals. Poor thing. *snuggles*

Have you considered getting a kitten or juvenile cat to keep him company? (You are down to just Bjorn in terms of kitties, right?) We did that for Hamish when our other cat Hector passed. Not that Hamish was happy with us; he was upset that we'd brought in a strange girl when what he wanted his brother back. He eventually forgave us and it did my heart good to see them actually playing together last weekend. So damn cute.

No, I have two, I still have Sybil, my late mother's cat. They don't get along too well though, Sybil doesn't like other cats. I have thought about getting another, but not until I can get him stabilized. I'm worried it could make things worse.
