Another long day

This time I put in 1 1/2 hour of comp time, for an 8 1/2 hour day. That was because this morning I was in Manhattan for a meeting. It's what they have nowadays instead of the old YA Tea and it can't hold a candle to it. But that is as may be, we got the new Best Books for Teens list, and heard booktalks about some of them, and had an author speak.

Then I went back and worked the rest of the day, which was pretty quiet all told.

After work the FWiB called and we had a nice conversation. He is having trouble with his wifi at the nursing home he needs to get out of there.

After that mashfanficchick and her mother and Theo picked me up and we went shopping for stuff.

And then I came home, and in my nightly call to Oldest Brother we started setting things up for Christmas and Christmas Eve at The Kid's. We have our hotel reservation, and are looking into a rental car. This means I had to put Oldest Brother as an authorized user on my credit card, as he doesn't have a credit card, and I don't have a drivers license. It's going to be a hassle, but we should be able to pull everything off.
