Well, it is the 13th

silver_chipmunkMy purse strap broke on my way to work today, a major nuisance. Fortunately I have the ones that Oldest Brother's boss's wife gave him to give me. I will make the switch after I finish here.
Hectic day at work, with problems with a group of teen boys, and also an elderly patron.
After work heard frommashfanficchick that she and her mother were out on Long Island, and did i want to meet them out there? At first I said no, then I reconsidered. So, while the FWiB and I talked, I made my way to Flushing and then on the LIRR to Woodside, and then I was supposed to get the train to Carle Place but I missed it. But the next one on the Huntington Line didn't go to Carle Place, so they said take it anyway and they'd meet me at Westbury. Which I did.
We had Carvel out there, and then went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. That was pretty good.
And now it's time for getting to bed.
