Home again, all is well

silver_chipmunkYesterday was New Years Eve, of course, and we slept quite late after being up until 3:00 am or so the night before. Then we ordered sushi in for lunch, because nothing says New Tears Eve like raw fish on rice! And then we did some cleaning in mashfanficchick's apartment. Aside from her and her mother and me, we only had two other guests, but we had a fun time, and did watch the ball drop at midnight.
Then we hung out for a few more hours and finaly called it in at 4. I slept on an exercise mat on the floor with a sleeping bag, because the original plan had been for me andmashfanfficchick's mother to go back to her house to sleep. But that changed in light of the temperature and other reasons.
So everyone slept very late today too of course. I got up first and spent a couple of hours reading facebook and e-mailing the FWiB on my phone, and then everyone got up at 4 or so.
The FWiB called briefly around 7, still no joy with his phone there, still calling from the nurses station.
And we basically hung out and ate, and watched The Twilight Zone until it was time for me to get a ride home, and here I am. All well here.
