Home visit: I'm approved!

The most exciting news of the day is that after work I had the home visit to see if I get to adopt Oreo. It went very well, and I was approved! So I should have him Friday! I have to pay the adoption fee of $125 still but I can afford it.

So aside from that, the second most exciting news is that due to the approaching snow storm, we have a snow day tomorrow! It's officially announced that we will be closed. Yay for sleeping late!

Aside from that, work was normal. I did the Teen Lounge program and it went well. The FWiB called aftr work, only for a few minute though because he wanted to talk to the administrator because the phones are still out of order.

Got an e-mail from Frank C which was nice.

And, the news from yesterday that I couldn't share then... The Kid has an offer of a new job. She's very happy, and she starts in three weeks.

After work and the home visit, I went out with mashfanficchick and her mother to Carvel and Uno for dinner.

I don't mind snow as long as i get to stay home while it's falling, so this was fine for me. Thanks for the congrats!

Oh yeah, I can hardly wait! It's going to be some work getting him and Sybil used to each other, but I've done it before with other cats so I should be able to pull it off this time too.
