Christmas decorations are down.

silver_chipmunkI got up at 10 and ate breakfast, couldn't have coffee because I was out of milk, but I had something to eat. Puttered on the computer for awhile, then showered, washed my hair, and dressed. Then I started doing dishes.
Oldest Brother was supposed to come by 1:00 but he was late. He brought me milk, and we both had coffee, and then we started taking down the Christmas tree. by 3:15 we had somewhat more than half done, and it was time to order food. Oldest Brother thinks the Chinese takeout we had last time he was over made him sick - something did - so we tried a Mexican place that delivers. Tasty.
Then he had to leave, and I had to finish the rest myself, but it didn't take too long. Everything is now down and put away. The living room looks quite big and bare without the tree!
The FWiB called, nothing going on with him. We are hoping that tomorrow his phone gets fixed.
Then I watched the second episode of the new X-files season online. Unlike the first episode, which was open to anyone to watch, the second episode you had to sign in through your TV provider to watch. So I signed in through Spectrum, and it worked fine. It was a very intense episode, and I hope that next weeks's is lighter. A monster-of-the-week episode would go down well.
Oreo hid under the bed the entire time Oldest Brother was here, but he came out after he left. He had Sybil had a spat in the kitchen just before their feeding time.
Sadly by the time Oldest Brother left there was no point to me going in to Manhattan to Coogan's, as anyone I would have been meeting had already left. Oh well.
have the day off for Martin Luther King Day tomorrow. Not sure what I'll do.
