Snow storm

silver_chipmunkBad enough that The Powers That Be let us close early. Not as early as we all would have liked, at 3, but at 5, so I had an extra hour to get home.
The day actually went rather smoothly. It was only drizzling a little when I went in to work so there was no problem getting there. The snow started around 12. By my lunch at 1, it was quite heavy, and I heard quite a loud clap of thunder. It was around 1:30 they said they would let us go at 5. We cancelled programming in the afternoon because there were no kids there.
I got a bus almost immediately after getting to the stop so that was good. There were no problems in getting home, though the bus driver kept muttering to himself, which was not especially comforting. Still, nothing bad happened.
Got home, no Carvel obviously, and Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice talk. And then I had dinner, and went to read in my bedroom.
And now I am feeding the cats, and planning on going and reading a little more. I think I can finish A Darker Shade of Magic tonight.
The snow seems to have stopped and things will hopefully be back to normal by tomorrow.
