Middle Brother's birthday

silver_chipmunkActually it's tomorrow, but we celebrated today. As recounted in last nights post, I spent the night at mashfanficchiick's place to facilitate getting out this morning. Also because she was testing gluten-free, kosher-for-passover apple pie toppings last night. Yummy!
Anyway, got up very late today, though not late enough considering the time we got to bed last night, and considering the time change. Headed to Applebee's out on Long Island in Bellemore. Meanwhile Oldest Brother picked Middle Brother from his group home and got there first. We were joined by John, Denise, Aunt Helen and Brianne. Had a nice meal, then went to Aunt Helen's.
Oldest Brother picked up a Carvel cake on the way, and we had the cake and coffee and tea and soda, and presents. Then we talked for hours, which was so good.
But eventually Middle Brother got antsy, and it was time to go. Oldest Brother took him home;mashfanficchick and her mother took me home.
Didn't get the chance to talk to the FWiB, but I did e-mail him some during the day so we kept in touch.
All was well here when I got back.
Bed soon; very tired.
