Fairly normal day

silver_chipmunkGot to work and it was rather busy. The kids are back from spring break for one thing. I did the gaming program, and it went rather well.
The FWiB had me hold off on calling after work because he was expecting a Skype from his brother, but by the time I got home he hadn't called, so the FWiB had me phone rather than Skype, in order to leave his iPad free. So we had a rather short talk, but better than nothing!
After that i had dinner, and then I called The Kid. She answered so we had a nice conversation.
And that was about all. Except last night I heard back from my text to Denise to set up Oldest Brother's birthday celebration Saturday, and that's set.
For some reason I have been thinking of The Forgotten Beasts of Eld lately, and wanting to read it again, so today I downloaded it to my Nook. A silly thing to do when I have such a backlog of books to read, but I wanted it badly. I started reading it after I downloaded it, but I will have to put it off, I just have too much other stuff, all the books from my birthday, plus I just got the third in the V E Schwab trilogy from work today. And I mustn't forget The Black Powder War, which I put off when I started the Schwab books.
So that's all there is to say right now. Bed soon.

Edited to add, I don't put a lot of news or political stuff here, but I just have to note that the FBI raided Trump's lawyer's office today. I can't wait to see what comes of it!
