Meeting in the morning

silver_chipmunkGot up early and out early to get to work for the Summer Reading Program Workshop, which was held at my branch. It's a good thing I was early, because there was some accident that ended up tying up traffic all over the Bronx. So I made it to the meeting just on time instead of early. It was a pretty good meeting. Got some ideas, learned some stuff.
The rest of the day was quiet. I worked an extra hour, for comp time, which is always good.
After work I called the FWiB. We talked til I got home, then switched to Skype. Very nice conversation, as always. He is congested, I think he's coming down with something, which would explain the cough, I hope.
Later in the evenning I called The Kid, and we had a lovely conversation. She invited me to go to Arisia next year. That's the big convention she and the SIL go to in Boston every year. She said as long as I didn't get weird and follow her around, and stayed in the overflow hotel rather than the main hotel, she would like it if I came, so of course I said yes. I just bought a membership to seal the deal. She also suggested that I askmashfanficchick if she wanted to come to, so I did that too. Waiting to hear back from her. So that was pretty cool.
The weather today was beautiful, but I think it's supposed to rain tomorrow, boo.
