silver_chipmunkWork was OK. I made it dead on time, rather than the 10 minutes or so the bus usually gets me there. But I was on time so good enough.
The FWiB does not have pneumonia, thank goodness, he has bronchitis. They are treating it with a nebulizer 3 or 4 times a day, and he seems better already. But they were giving him a treatment when I got out of work, so wee had to put off calling.
Meanwhile rather than go directly home I went to the drugstore to get my other prescription filled. Then I started home and stoped aat McDonald's for dinner. That's when I got the FWiB's message that his treatment was done, so I said why not wait til I was home and I'd Skype? He agreed, so I started eating my dinner. Got halfway through it whenmashfanficchick texted and asked if I wanted to meet up for dinner. So I said yes, and we agreed where to meet. I emailed the FWiB that i wan't going home after all, and shuld I call then? He said yes so I did and we talked on my way to the subway.
Met up withmashfanficchick and we went to Shake Shack, where she had dinner, and I, having eaten, made due with a black and white milkshake. Then after that we went next door to a rolled ice cream place and had ice cream. Yes I know... a shake and ice cream. Bad me.
After that we walked back to her place, and I took my leave from there.
I have been reading the new Jonathan Kellerman Alex Delaware novel, Night Moves. Got it at work today, and am enjoying it greatly.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB doesn't have pneumonia.
2. The rain I got caught in after leaving McDonald's stopped.
3. Ice cream.
4. Friends.
5. Good books.
6. My big box fan, cause it's hot in here.
Edited to add: I totally forgot to mention, for lunch today I went to a sushi place and got my lunch there. Cause nothing says "I'm tired of the same old thing for lunch" like raw fish on rice!
